Pushpa 2: Allu Arjun makes a stunning comeback on his 41st birthday

On his birthday, Allu Arjun announced the sequel to the blockbuster hit Pushpa: The Rise with a video in which he roared, “Ab rule Pushpa ka.” While the first film earned him a fee of around 45 crore rupees, it is reported that the Telugu superstar has nearly doubled his fee for the sequel.

On the occasion of his 41st birthday, Allu Arjun treated his fans with a brand new poster of his upcoming film Pushpa: The Rule. He shared the poster on Friday, a day ahead of his birthday. In the poster, Allu Arjun can be seen donning a striking new look, dressed in a saree and adorned with jewelry, with his face painted in shades of blue and red. The post was captioned, “Pushpa 2 the rule begins.” Fans were thrilled to see the poster, and the comments section was flooded with praises and excitement for the film.

Pushpa: The Rule is the sequel to the highly successful first installment, Pushpa: The Rise, which was released in 2021. The film revolves around the power struggles in the red sandalwood smuggling business. The star-studded cast from the first film, including Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Dhanunjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj, return for the sequel. The songs from the first film, such as “Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava,” “Srivalli,” and “Saami Saami,” were huge hits.

Pushpa: The Rule has been written and directed by Sukumar, and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. The film is slated to release in theatres later this year.
